jPod was a let down. Really. Coupland takes himself too seriously in this book, which is not to say that it doesn't have its funny moments, but you know, it was "oh-look-at-me-i'm-trying-to-be-funny" funny rather than funny. Microserfs was waaay better, and had more meaning, more character in the characters and was generally well written. So I say, wait for the paperback indeed!
